So my nephew, James Ryan, was FINALLY born today :3 It was, amazing. We get up at 2am, Amber's having pains and unpleasant things going on down stairs, so we hurry along to the hospital. They say she's going into labor, everything is great. She's doing fine, pains are so bad yet, smiling -happy. My brother calls, says his plane from Illinois (he's in the Navy and stationed there) will land at 9:30 our time. So it gets around time my dad will have to go to get him, and the doctor says we have way plenty of time before the baby actually comes, he estimated about 5pm.

So my dad asks me to go with him, the airport is 2 hours away and he didn't want to drive alone. Well, Amber had both my mother and my grandmother to keep her company so I left, being reassured we had hours and hours of waiting left. We get there, find him all adorable in is dress blues, looking so mature and so handsome! Anyways, we get him in and drive back. About uh 15ish min from the hospital my mom calls, James had other ideas, wanted to come NOW. So we're trying to safely drive through town to the hospital, trying to get him there in time. I'm telling him how to get to the room so I didn't have to worry about keeping up so he didn't get lost right? So we finally get there, my dad says just to run in he'll park the car. We dash through the front door and there are nurses there, pointing and yelling for us to hurry.

We run down the hall, slipping and sliding on the linoleum floor, all the way to the delivery room. Nurses were holding open doors, people were looking at us like we were crazy, it was wonderful. We bust through the door to find my mother behind the bed, hands on Amber's shoulders, and my grandmother off to the side pointing -like we couldn't see where Amber was. Casey runs up to his wife and wraps an arm around her, all kissing her forehead. I ran up and got her hand, reminding her to breath and all that. Doctor says to push, she's screaming -hand is broken my God- he says one more and boom baby.

It was, gross, but amazing. He was yelling and crying, we were all crying and hugging, just so crazily beautiful. Once everything was calm I asked my mom about the nurses and all that. Apparently she told everyone about Casey flying from Illinois at the soonest possible moment, and how it was his first baby and the hospital staff was all 'Oh, he had better make it.' And he did, and it was like a movie, and it was just so amazing. And I'm so tired and its just been such a great GREAT great day!!! Casey is home for 10 days, James was born in time for Thanksgiving, it's just so, wonderful to have them both here! I'd be great if my older brother could be here but, he can't come down until exactly one month from today, for two weeks. So that's good. Casey will be home again then too. I'm so incredibly happy. *DEEP BREATH* Yeah~
